Over the past 9 years, I have contributed to a wide range of English → German localization projects for international companies, digital platforms and localization agencies. My portfolio includes work across fintech, SaaS, enterprise technology, e-commerce, gaming, subtitle localization and multilingual marketing.
Rather than focusing on one isolated niche, my experience has been shaped by long-term collaboration with businesses that require accurate, natural and audience-oriented German localization within fast-moving digital environments.
One major area of focus has been fintech and financial localization. For companies such as Octa, BDSwiss and AvaTrade, I worked on daily market news, trading-related content, app localization, financial articles and multilingual user communication. These projects required not only linguistic precision, but also the ability to handle financial terminology clearly and consistently for German-speaking audiences.
In the SaaS and technology sector, I contributed to localization projects for companies including IBM, WalkMe and Kape Technologies. My work involved technical documentation, cloud-related content, software guides, website localization, UX-oriented copy and multilingual marketing material. Recommendation letters from clients highlighted both the quality of my translations and my reliability in deadline-driven environments.
I also worked extensively in e-commerce and consumer-focused localization. During my collaboration with Wayfair, I supported German localization quality through translation, proofreading, glossary optimization and translation memory refinement. My responsibilities additionally included translator evaluations and linguistic quality reviews aimed at improving consistency across the German platform.
Another important part of my portfolio includes subtitle and multimedia localization. Through projects for DotSub and SoundTitles, I translated and proofread subtitles for e-learning content, software tutorials, promotional videos and large-scale digital events including Adobe MAX and Adobe Summit.
In addition to large international companies, I have supported smaller businesses and startups entering the German market. These projects included app localization, SEO-oriented website content, product descriptions, multilingual onboarding flows and business communication adapted for German-speaking users.
Clients like Siemens, Nestle, Adobe, and LifeVantage emphasized my professionalism, communication skills and ability to deliver natural-sounding German localization.
